X-GATE is a client-server based protection system which can protect the critical data of an enterprise from being leaked via network transfer. It can monitor every computer of an enterprise according to the permission which the administrator has given to the user, where it controls the internet activity which the users can accomplish, such as website browsing and the control of web mail, web HD, FTP file transfer and instant messengers. With the management application, the IT staff can design a suitable permission for each user according to its job position. Therefore, the network usage of the users will be monitored closely, such as the access of internet, message transfer, file transfer, logs, traffic flow statistics, and so on. |

Messenger(v7.0/v7.5) ， Windows Live Messenger(MSN Messenger 8.0) ， Yahoo Messenger(v7.0/v7.5/v8.0)， Skype(v1.3~v2.5)and FTP can support SOCKS4/SOCKS5. Each instant messenger provides the configuration of wildcard character (*), where it can control the transactions of unauthorized accounts and the SMTP module can send a large quantity of electronic emails. In regards of the system configuration, it can also support the configuration of OU in the AD, where it can be viewed by the tree structure and configure permission. |

The website authentication mode supports NTLM authentication. Once the client logons the program, it will directly initiate Single Sign-On mode. When the client enters the domain, it will automatically log in X-GATE. In regards of the View Log, it accelerates the statistics result, where it utilizes the different filters to increase the reports and update the functions of the ranking table. |
